AfriLabs was created to support African technology hubs by providing financing, mentoring, networking opportunities and other capacity-building resources for high-potential entrepreneurs. We have the vision to build a thriving innovation economy in Africa, powered by our community. AfriLabs has a broad network of over 400 technology and innovation hubs across 53 African countries.
As a network organization, AfriLabs works towards the following objectives:
1. Encourage technology, innovation and entrepreneurship in all forms.
2. Promote the creation of African-made technology, with a special focus on social, economic and environmental sectors.
3. Provide an environment characterized by open collaboration, technical innovation and support for the technology community at large.
4. Commitment to capacity building, mentorship, networking and forming bonds that will serve as building blocks for a new generation of thinking.
