Fibois Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes was created on January 1, 2018, from the merger of the interprofessional forest Bois de Rhône-Alpes (Fibra) and Auvergne (Auvergne Promobois).
Fibois Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes aims to:

It is a 1901 law association organized into colleges in order to accommodate all companies and all professional families in the forest-wood sector in Auvergne Rhône-Alpes.

Fibois Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes est née le 1er janvier 2018, issue de la fusion des interprofessions forêt Bois de Rhône-Alpes (Fibra) et d’Auvergne (Auvergne Promobois).
Fibois Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes a pour objet de :
- Fédérer les entreprises et les acteurs de la filière forêt bois de la région ou ayant des activités économiques en région,
- Représenter la filière forêt bois auprès des instances économiques et politiques de la région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes,
- Promouvoir un développement harmonieux de la forêt dans le cadre d’une gestion durable, promouvoir les utilisations du bois, en particulier le bois local, promouvoir la filière et ses entreprises, l’innovation au sein de la filière,
- Promouvoir les métiers de la filière et assurer la formation professionnelle dans tous les secteurs d’activité de la filière bois.
C’est une association loi 1901 organisée en collèges afin d’accueillir toutes les entreprises et toutes les familles professionnelles de la filière forêt-bois d’Auvergne Rhône-Alpes.
