The Junior Economic Chamber is an association recognized as being of public utility. It is a Citizen Leaders Incubator which allows its young volunteers to carry out projects of general interest using a methodology close to entrepreneurship.

In the aftermath of the Second World War, the JCEF was created by a group of young resistance fighters, led by Yvon Chotard, wishing to take an active part in the reconstruction of their country. The JCEF is apartheid and non-confessional. It is present in more than 130 locations in France and is affiliated with the international movement JCI (Junior Chamber International), bringing together 200,000 members in more than 100 countries.

La Jeune Chambre Économique est une association reconnue d'utilité publique. C'est un Incubateur de Leaders Citoyens qui permet à ses jeunes bénévoles de mener des projets d'intérêt général selon une méthodologie proche de l'entreprenariat.
L'objectif : impacter positivement les territoires, porter la voix de la jeunesse et développer leur leadership.
Regroupant 2000 bénévoles en France, elle forme des jeunes de 18 à 40 ans pour qu’ils entreprennent collectivement au service de l’intérêt général, en créant des projets sur le terrain, dans des domaines variés : l’emploi des jeunes, l’économie circulaire, l'environnement, l’aménagement du territoire...
Nos membres développent des compétences dans la gestion de projet et la prise de responsabilités, leur donnant la capacité de devenir les leaders responsables de demain, par l’action et pour l’action.
Au lendemain de la Seconde Guerre Mondiale, la JCEF est créée par un groupe de jeunes résistants, dirigés par Yvon Chotard, souhaitant prendre une part active à la reconstruction de leur pays, la JCEF est apartisant et aconfessionnelle. Elle est présente dans plus de 130 localités en France et est affiliée au mouvement international JCI (Junior Chamber International), regroupant 200 000 membres dans plus de 100 pays.
