4 years, 8 months ago[Automatic translation follows] Created at the initiative of French industrialists and their sectors, the Usine Extraordinaire Foundation aims to reestablish the links between the factory and society. It brings together around fifty companies and partners.
The Usine Extraordinaire Foundation is hosted by FACE – the Fondation Agir Contre l’Exclusion, recognized as being of public utility.
The Usine Extraordinaire event of general interest, which was held at the Grand Palais from November 22 to 25, 2018, was the first event supported by the Usine Extraordinaire Foundation. This unique experience was an opportunity to reveal to the general public and primarily to schools and families behind the scenes of today's factory. Relive the event on http://bit.ly/UsineExtraordinaireYT
On the program: immersive experiences, dialogues with technicians, engineers and workshop managers, discovery of production lines recreated on site, virtual reality, exhibition of monumental machines... and fascinating conferences. The Extraordinary Factory aims to be resolutely open, experiential and attractive through four universes: Invent, Make, Connect and Share.
Guided educational tours are offered to middle and high school students with their teachers to better understand the workings of the industry, go behind the scenes of the factory and inspire younger generations to embark on the adventure of the industry.
The Usine Extraordinaire Foundation aims to re-weave the links between society and industry. At his initiative are industrialists from the FIM (Federation of Mechanical Industries), the UIMM (Union of Metallurgical Industries and Trades), the Alliance for the Industry of the Future and BPI France.
The Foundation recognized as being of public utility was created in order to bring together the greatest number of stakeholders (industrialists, social partners, teachers, trainers, etc.) and to change the way the French people and especially the younger generations view the industry. .
