[Automatic translation follows] CANOE is an R&T center created in 2008 at the initiative of the Nouvelle Aquitaine Regional Council.
Our activities: development of composites and advanced materials (formulation, manufacturing processes and characterization) are spread across 6 technologies:
- Thermoplastic formulations & elastomers
- Fibers and carbon,
- Composites and thermoplastic prepregs
- Additive manufacturing
- Surface treatment by printing
- Characterization and NDT.
Our objective: to support companies in the development of new technologies (product/process) using pilot equipment (TRL 3-6): R&D studies (feasibility studies, prototyping, scale-up, testing, etc.) , cooperative projects, training actions.
Our main customers and partners are recognized players in the sectors of transport (aeronautics, automobile, boating), defense, renewable energies (photovoltaic, wind and tidal energy), green chemistry, construction and medical. .

CANOE est un centre R&T créé en 2008 à l’initiative du Conseil régional Nouvelle Aquitaine.
Nos activités : développement de composites et matériaux avancés (formulation, procédés de fabrication et caractérisation) sont réparties sur 6 technologies :
- Formulations thermoplastiques & élastomères
- Fibres et carbone,
- Composites et pré-imprégnés thermoplastiques
- Fabrication additive
- Traitement de surfaces par impression
- Caractérisation et CND.
Notre objectif : accompagner les entreprises dans le développement de nouvelles technologies (produit/procédé) au moyen d’équipements pilotes (TRL 3-6) : études R&D (études de faisabilité, prototypage, scale-up, essais...), projets coopératifs, actions de formation.
Nos principaux clients et partenaires sont des acteurs reconnus dans les secteurs du transport (aéronautique, automobile, nautisme), de la défense, des énergies renouvelables (photovoltaïque, énergie éolienne et hydrolienne), de la chimie-verte, de la construction et du médical.
