In the two Congresses that we hold annually, opinions are debated and contrasted about any topic that may affect students in general, and those studying Law degrees in particular, aimed at reaching agreements that give CONEDE its own voice and representative of the opinions and wills of its members. All of this helps to promote inter-university relations, camaraderie, plurality and collaboration between the people and Universities that are part of CONEDE, always based on equality and respect between all of them.

El Consejo Nacional de Estudiantes de Derecho -CONEDE- es considerada la asociación de estudiantes oficial a nivel nacional, al menos de facto, por ser la única existente inscrita como tal, a lo que se añade su presencia en todas las negociaciones que afectan al estudiante de Derecho, manteniendo frecuente contacto con los Ministerios de Educación y Justicia así como con otros órganos de relevancia en el ámbito jurídico y universitario.
La finalidad principal del CONEDE es la representación de todos los estudiantes de Derecho del territorio español para hacer llegar su voz a los órganos institucionales. Para ello, se busca unir el mayor número posible de representantes de estudiantes pertenecientes a las titulaciones de Derecho de las universidades situadas en todo el territorio nacional.
El CONEDE pretende promover una colaboración permanente y un constante intercambio de información útil entre sus miembros sobre representación estudiantil en los diferentes órganos de Gobierno de las Universidades donde se imparten estudios de Derecho, el estado general y particular de la titulación de Derecho, cuestiones referentes a cursos, postgrados, prácticas y otras actividades que sean de interés para los estudiantes de Derecho y sus perspectivas de inserción en el mercado laboral, legislación que afecte al mundo del estudio de la ciencia del Derecho y todo lo que pudiese ser de interés para los estudiantes.
En los dos Congresos que celebramos anualmente se debaten y contrastan opiniones acerca de cualquier tema que pueda afectar a los estudiantes en general, y a los de la titulación de Derecho en particular, orientadas a alcanzar acuerdos que otorguen al CONEDE una voz propia y representativa de las opiniones y voluntades de sus miembros. Todo ello ayuda a fomentar las relaciones interuniversitarias, el compañerismo, la pluralidad y la colaboración entre las personas y Universidades que formen parte del CONEDE, siempre desde la igualdad y el respeto entre todos ellos
