La Asociación Murciana de la Empresa Familiar (AMEFMUR) es una entidad privada sin ánimo de lucro que nace en 1996 de la mano de un grupo de empresarios que se unen para apoyar y defender los intereses de las empresas familiares de cualquier actividad.
La misión de AMEFMUR es ser un referente institucional, social, económico y académico de la empresa familiar. Para alcanzar ese objetivo estudia y analiza su problemática con la finalidad de facilitar su desarrollo y promoción. En la actualidad, la asociación agrupa a más de un centenar de empresas que desarrollan su actividad en diferentes sectores.
AMEFMUR defiende y promociona los intereses de las empresas familiares como elemento básico para asegurar el desarrollo económico de la Región de Murcia. De ahí que entre sus objetivos esté divulgar ante la opinión pública la importancia de este colectivo en la economía y mejorar el marco jurídico que les afecta para que puedan desarrollar su actividad en óptimas condiciones.
