Mission that is also carried out internationally, especially through the European ASD (Aerospace and Defense Industries Association of Europe), recognized by the European Commission as the main interlocutor and representative of the industry.
It acts as a meeting point where companies debate industrial perspectives and initiatives to share them with Administrations, economic agents and national and international institutions.
It makes visible the common interest of the different sectors of TEDAE, and highlights what they contribute and can contribute in the future to the Spanish and European economy.
Promotes the internationalization of the products and services of associated companies, the competitiveness and flexibility of the sector.
He is an effective interlocutor with the Administrations and public bodies, in Spain and at the European level, especially with the European Commission.

TEDAE está integrada por 89 empresas españolas de los sectores industriales de Defensa, Aeronáutica, Seguridad y Espacio. Entre ellas hay grandes y medianas empresas, contratistas principales y suministradores de sistemas, junto a otras de menor tamaño, pero muy especializadas, que comparten un mismo compromiso: la generación de tecnología avanzada, el empleo cualificado y el retorno social de la inversión.
Las empresas de TEDAE facturan 11.594 millones de euros, exportan el 46,9 % de sus productos y servicios, contribuyen con un 1,42 % al Producto Interior Bruto de España, generan 49.625 empleos de alta cualificación técnica y dedican el 10,2 % de su facturación a la I+D+I.
