    AuScope is Australia’s provider of research tools, technology and expertise to the national geoscience community to help address fundamental geoscience questions and grand challenges like climate change, natural resources security and natural hazards. Our HQ team are based at The University of Melbourne on Wurunderji Country and our Projects teams are embedded in Geoscience Australia, CSIRO, State and Territory geological surveys and universities around the continent.

    We are funded by the Australian Government via the Department of Education and the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy, known as NCRIS.
