The Access to Seeds Index - Bridging the gap between the world's leading seed companies and the smallholder farmer

The Access to Seeds Index benchmarks seed companies on their performance in supporting smallholder farmer productivity. This is one of the key targets of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The initiative, funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the government of The Netherlands, seeks to give credit to companies that show leadership and encourage others to step up their efforts.
