HISTORY
The Soñar Despierto Foundation originated in Spain more than a decade ago and was born with a double objective: to help the most disadvantaged and forgotten children in our country and to involve citizens through involved and responsible volunteering.
Today we help more than 4,000 children of the more than 21,000 in Spain, with the support of a team of more than 1,600 volunteers.
We currently have headquarters in: Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia and Seville.
WHAT DO WE DO?
We work for the social integration of children and young people residing in shelters and residential centers, from broken families through a socio-educational project.

HISTORIA
La Fundación Soñar Despierto tiene su origen en España hace ya más de una década y nace con un doble objetivo: ayudar a la infancia más desfavorecida y olvidada de nuestro país e involucrar a la ciudadanía a través del voluntariado implicado y responsable.
A día de hoy ayudamos a más de 4.000 niños de los más de 21.000 que hay en España, con el apoyo de un equipo de más de 1.600 voluntarios.
Actualmente tenemos sede en: Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia y Sevilla.
¿QUÉ HACEMOS?
Trabajamos por la integración social de niños y jóvenes residentes en centros de acogida y residenciales, procedentes de familias desestructuradas a través de un proyecto socioeducativo.
Son menores con un alto riesgo de exclusión social.
Las rupturas contínuas de los vínculos afectivos tienen unas consecuencias en su desarrollo social y personal que pueden marcar su vida adulta si no se logran compensar y paliar.
OBJETIVOS:
Soporte educativo y emocional a los menores, para que puedan mantener un nivel escolar adecuado para su desarrollo.
Acciones de promoción de la educación inclusiva en el tiempo libre y fomento de la educación en valores.
Promover la ciudadanía activa y la participación social a través del voluntariado.
