Description
  • Value proposition

Medical Publishing Insights & Practices (MPIP) was founded by members of the pharmaceutical industry and the International Society for Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP) to elevate trust, transparency, and integrity in publishing industry-sponsored research. Current corporate co-sponsors include Amgen, AstraZeneca, Biogen, Bristol-Myers Squibb, GlaxoSmithKline, Janssen Research & Development LLC, Merck, Pfizer, and Takeda.

Since our inception in 2008, MPIP has promoted more effective partnership between sponsors and journals to raise standards in medical publications and expand access to research results. Through independent research, industry ̶ journal roundtables, and multidisciplinary collaboration, MPIP works to enhance understanding of challenges in publishing industry-sponsored research and develop tangible solutions. Our research results are disseminated through publications, education, and outreach at society meetings, webcasts and webinars.
