Girls Not Brides is the only global organisation uniquely focused on creating and sustaining a worldwide movement to end child marriage, and ensuring that this movement leads to tangible change for the girls at risk or affected by the practice. We are a network of over 1,400 civil society organisations in over 100 countries working in partnership to end child marriage.

Our vision is a world without child marriage where girls and women enjoy equal status with boys and men and are able to achieve their full potential in all aspects of their lives. Our vision challenges deeply embedded social norms that harm the lives of girls, women and their communities.

Girls Not Brides es la única organización global que se centra de forma exclusiva en crear y mantener un movimiento mundial dirigido a abordar los matrimonios y las uniones infantiles, tempranas y forzadas (MUITF) y a garantizar que el mismo se traduzca en un cambio tangible para las niñas y adolescentes en riesgo de MUITF o que se ven afectadas por esta práctica. Somos una red conformada por más de 1,400 organizaciones de la sociedad civil de más de 100 países que trabajan en alianza para abordar los MUITF.

Nuestra visión es un mundo sin MUITF en el que las niñas, adolescentes, jóvenes y mujeres gocen de los mismos derechos que sus pares varones y puedan desarrollar todo su potencial en los diferentes ámbitos de su vida. Nuestra visión desafía normas sociales profundamente arraigadas que perjudican la vida de las niñas, adolescentes, jóvenes, mujeres y sus comunidades.
