Description
  • Value proposition

Founded by students of the University of Tokyo, we provide renewable products to off-grid children in Sub-Saharan Africa

We started as a small project in 2006 by a team of three students at the University of Tokyo who shared a common desire to make real changes to the world outside of labs and classrooms.
The name First Access indicates our primary aim to bring a ‘First Access’ to electricity for disadvantaged African children living in rural and remote areas where national electrical grids or humanitarian agencies have not yet reached - or may never reach in any near future.
Since our establishment, we have delivered over 1,000 solar lanterns to children in junior schools, daycare centres and orphanages in Uganda, Kenya, Sierra Leone, and other African countries.

  • First Access(An NGO to suppport African children)

First Access is a Non-governmental and non-profit making organization of Tokyo University Students. We are committed continuous support to offgrid children, with the blessings of energy.
