With 450 associated companies, ANFIA - National Association of the Automotive Industry - is one of the major trade associations adhering to CONFINDUSTRIA. Founded in 1912, for over 100 years its aim has been to represent the interests of its Associates towards public and private, national and international institutions and to provide for the study and resolution of technical, economic, fiscal, legislative, statistical and quality of the automotive sector.
The Association is structured into 3 product groups, each coordinated by a President:
- Components: includes manufacturers of automotive parts and components
- Car Design & Engineering: includes companies operating in the sector of planning, engineering, style and design of motor vehicles and/or parts and components intended for the automotive sector
- Manufacturers: includes manufacturers of motor vehicles in general - including trucks, trailers, campers, special vehicles and/or vehicles dedicated to specific uses - or specific fittings and equipment mounted on motor vehicles
Vision: create value for the automotive world
Mission: a reality capable of representing and offering services to companies in the sector to support and strengthen their competitiveness, growth on foreign markets and integration into mobility systems, through:
- relations with national and international institutions
- networking activities, participation in technical-regulatory committees, study and analysis - of the sector, training and consultancy
The current issues to which the supply chain represented by ANFIA pays maximum attention and on which ANFIA actively intervenes concern the macro areas of mobility, safety, environment, energy, research and internationalisation.

Con 450 Aziende associate, ANFIA - Associazione Nazionale Filiera Industria Automobilistica - è una delle maggiori associazioni di categoria aderenti a CONFINDUSTRIA. Nata nel 1912, da oltre 100 anni ha l’obiettivo di rappresentare gli interessi delle Associate nei confronti delle istituzioni pubbliche e private, nazionali e internazionali e di provvedere allo studio e alla risoluzione delle problematiche tecniche, economiche, fiscali, legislative, statistiche e di qualità del comparto automotive.
L’Associazione è strutturata in 3 Gruppi merceologici, ciascuno coordinato da un Presidente:
- Componenti: comprende i produttori di parti e componenti di autoveicoli
- Car Design & Engineering: comprende le aziende operanti nel settore della progettazione, ingegnerizzazione, stile e design di autoveicoli e/o parti e componenti destinati al settore autoveicolistico
- Costruttori: comprende i produttori di autoveicoli in genere – inclusi camion, rimorchi, camper, mezzi speciali e/o dedicati a specifici utilizzi - ovvero allestimenti e attrezzature specifiche montati su autoveicoli

Mission: una realtà capace di rappresentare e offrire servizi alle aziende del comparto per sostenerne e rafforzarne la competitività, la crescita sui mercati esteri e l’integrazione nei sistemi di mobilità, attraverso:
- relazioni con le istituzioni nazionali e internazionali
- attività di networking, di partecipazione a comitati tecnico-normativi, di studio e analisi - del settore, di formazione e consulenza
I temi di attualità verso cui la filiera rappresentata da ANFIA rivolge la massima attenzione e su cui ANFIA interviene attivamente riguardano le macro aree della mobilità, della sicurezza, dell’ambiente, dell’energia, della ricerca e dell’internazionalizzazione.
