1st Romanian Digital Think-Tank. Connecting local & international debates. Empowering citizens & stakeholders.

The first Romanian Digital Think-Tank - a network for public policy experts, researchers, digital innovators, entrepreneurs & digital enthusiasts!
Cyber-security, emerging tech, e-governance or digital literacy are just some of the many issues we seek to address through a multi-stakeholder approach, by bridging the national, European and global debates.

Digital Citizens Romania este primul Think Tank Românesc în domeniul Digital format din adepți ai domeniului digital, experți, reprezentanți ai mediului de afaceri și specialiști în politici publice.

    Our Mission
Creating a digital community that offers expertise and resources to stakeholders interested in the digital sector and in the way new technologies have an impact on designing public policies, economy and various aspects of the social reality, at national, European and international level.

    Our Vision
A modern society based on innovation and knowledge, where the digital sector fosters public policies, a competitive economy and inclusive communities.

The Strategic Directions assumed by our platform focus on three essential pillars:
    I. Contributing to knowledge and understanding of the phenomenon of digitalization.
II. Creating a proper space for debate on the impact of digitalization, on short and long-term.
III. Supporting the process of adjusting new public policies to the evolution of the digital sector, while actively contributing and generating solutions capable of leading towards "an intelligent, sustainable and inclusive economy".

The evolution of Information and Communication Technology has led to significant changes in the European society: from the way individuals are enabled to access and share information, to the way in which they can communicate with each other, regardless of distances, or in the way that we can foster innovation. Along with these changes comes the need to respond to the challenge of complementing the rapid development of technologies with adequate policies.
