El Instituto de Fomento, agencia de desarrollo de la Comunidad Autónoma de la Región de Murcia, es una Entidad de Derecho Público adscrita a la Consejería de Universidades, Empresa e Investigación, a la que corresponde promocionar e impulsar el desarrollo y crecimiento económico regional así como la competitividad, la innovación, el empleo y su calidad, y la productividad de su tejido empresarial, con especial atención a las pequeñas y medianas empresas y a las empresas de economía social.
