The Sekisui High Performance Plastics Company utilizes unique fine particle, adhesion and precise synthesis technologies to develop and provide high-performance and intermediate materials for a wide variety of fields such as electronics, mobility, infrastructure and industry, among others.



In the field of mobility, Sekisui is looking to contribute towards next-generation applications through its high-performance materials technology. The company is aiming to position itself as a partner in materials and molding technology throughout the world.

Sekisui is contributing to the comfort, safety and environmental performance of automobiles through its broad lineup of technologies and products. For example, the S-LECTM Film, which features both sound and heat isolation properties, is a global top seller. Other products include interior/exterior foams developed through the company’s unique foaming technology and its injection molding technology, which contributes to making cars more lightweight.



In May of 2020, Sekisui established the Minase Innovation Center. In the field of mobility, the center is a base where the company pursues both national and international partnerships. In Europe, the company established an Open Innovation Center in 2017, which serves as a base for both R&D and Marketing in the region.
