The Metis fund mobilizes artists to strengthen development dynamics in countries subject to great socio-economic vulnerability, by acting as closely as possible to the territories concerned. It demonstrates every day the relevance of combining emotion with reason to build our daily lives. One of its specificities: it finances artistic co-creation projects designed and implemented by an alliance of three types of actors: development operators, artists and the populations of the territories confronted with the development issues addressed by each project. Beyond the projects that the fund finances, Metis works to disseminate this sensitive path of action with striking impacts by sharing the achievements with diverse audiences and by strengthening the capacities of actors wishing to engage in this operational path.

Le fonds Metis mobilise des artistes pour renforcer les dynamiques de développement dans des pays soumis à une grande vulnérabilité socio-écconomique et ce, en agissant au plus près des territoires concernés. Il démontre chaque jour la pertinence d'allier l'émotion à la raison pour construire nos quotidiens. Une de ses spécificités : il finance des projets de co-création artistique pensés et mis en œuvre par une alliance de trois types d'acteurs : des opérateurs du développement, des artistes et les populations des territoires confrontés aux enjeux de développement abordés par chaque projet.
