Le Pôle formation UIMM / CFAI Centre-Val de Loire est implanté sur six sites en région Centre-Val de Loire : Amboise (37), Blois (41), Bourges (18), Châteaudun (28), Déols – Châteauroux (36), Orléans - La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin (45).
Formant en alternance plus de 870 apprentis du CAP au diplôme d’ingénieur, l'établissement présente un catalogue de formations de plus de 20 diplômes et une dizaine de filières recouvrant toute la chaîne industrielle, de la conception à la vente :
outillage – usinage, maintenance industrielle, chaudronnerie – soudage,
électronique, électrotechnique et informatique industrielle, conception industrielle, automatisme, robotique industrielle, systèmes réseaux et cybersécurité, process de production, commercial et assistance technique.
La démarche du Pôle formation UIMM / CFAI Centre-Val de Loire est en outre, appuyée par les partenariats noués avec l'IUT d'Orléans pour le BUT GMP et avec Polytech Orléans et Polytech Tours pour les diplômes d’ingénieurs avec l'entité ITII Centre-Val de Loire.
Les formations proposées se font en alternance entre l’établissement et les entreprises et permettent d’acquérir une véritable expérience professionnelle tout en préparant un diplôme. Elles s’adaptent en permanence aux besoins des entreprises et de leurs évolutions économiques et technologiques.
Aujourd’hui, les industries technologiques regroupent 42000 entreprises en France, dans des secteurs de pointe comme l’aéronautique, l’automobile, l’électrique, l’électronique, les équipements énergétiques, le ferroviaire, la mécanique, la métallurgie, le naval, le numérique et l’informatique, l’agro-alimentaire, la pharmaceutique...
Les entreprises recrutent toujours dans les métiers traditionnels mais les nouvelles technologies renouvellent profondément les processus de travail et de production. De nouveaux métiers apparaissent également (technicien imprimante 3D, programmeur industriel, roboticien, expert en ingénierie virtuelle).
