The company invests across the spectrum of development, under construction and operational assets in a range of sectors, including transportation, energy and utilities, telecommunications and social infrastructure.

John Laing has an Investment focus of core infrastructure assets in OECD countries:
- PPP & Projects: investing in and delivering PPPs and other concession based or similar assets
- Mid-market Core Businesses: investing in core infrastructure businesses that are mid-market in size

Over its history, John Laing has invested in, and managed, over 150 assets globally. John Laing is a long-term and responsible investor with a proven track record. The Group currently manages a diversified portfolio of c. 30 investments with assets under management of approximately £1.2 billion.
