Baden-Württemberg International (BW_i) ist die zentrale Standortförderungsagentur für Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft des Landes Baden-Württemberg.
BW_i versteht sich als aktive und integrative Zukunftsgestalterin und leistet einen maßgeblichen Beitrag zur erfolgreichen Entwicklung des Landes für ein progressives wie auch wirtschaftlich und wissenschaftlich stark wachsendes Land.
Unser Ziel ist es, Baden-Württemberg als Standort für Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft im weltweiten Wettbewerb noch sichtbarer, attraktiver und widerstandsfähiger zu machen, neue Akteur*innen anzusiedeln sowie lokale Unternehmen und wissenschaftliche Einrichtungen in ihrer Internationalisierung zu stärken, zu unterstützen und zu begleiten. Dabei sehen wir die Verknüpfung von Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft als einen Erfolgsfaktor. Die Einbeziehung von Kunst und Kultur in unsere Aktivitäten trägt ebenfalls zur Erreichung ebendieses Ziels bei.
Am Hauptsitz von BW_i in Stuttgart arbeiten rund 100 Mitarbeiter*innen mit umfassender Erfahrung auf ausländischen Märkten und im internationalen Projektmanagement. Daneben ist BW_i mit einer eigenen Auslandsniederlassung in Nanjing in der Volksrepublik China vertreten. Unser China-Büro unterstützt Unternehmen beim Einstieg in den chinesischen Markt.
