Making Connections for Our Changing Mountains
Founded in 2001, the Mountain Research Initiative (MRI) is a global research coordination network that promotes global change research in mountain regions across borders and disciplines through connection and collaboration – with a view to supporting pathways towards sustainable mountain development.
The MRI is funded and supported by the Swiss Academies of Sciences (SCNAT).
