Our regional association “Generations and Cultures”, born in 1981 at the initiative of a network of activists, has developed know-how in the
area of social cohesion and intergeneration with actions in three areas:
📌Intergenerational housing, with the “A Roof to Share” system (at the homes of the elderly) and “A Roof among the Ages” (in EHPAD).
📌The territories, with support for setting up and carrying out local actions promoting links between cultures and generations.
📌Homes and social residences where marginalized elderly people live, particularly with actions carried out for and with retired migrant workers housed in “ARELI homes”.
So that our know-how is at the service of all the inhabitants of Hauts de France and their elected officials, we have set up a “Resource Center” co-financed mainly by the Regional Council.
We are therefore now able to offer our support to communities and associations that would like to develop systems or actions in one or other of our four areas of intervention.Original language

Notre association régionale “Générations et Cultures”, née en 1981 à l’initiative d’un réseau de militants, a développé des savoir-faire dans le
domaine de la cohésion sociale et de l’intergénération avec des actions dans trois domaines :
📌Les logements intergénérationnels, avec le dispositif “Un Toit à Partager” (au domicile des personnes âgées) et "Un Toit parmi les âges" (en EHPAD) .
📌Les territoires, avec l’appui au montage et à la réalisation d’actions locales favorisant les liens entre les cultures et les générations.
📌Les foyers et les résidences sociales où vivent des personnes âgées marginalisées, notamment avec les actions menées pour et avec des travailleurs migrants retraités hébergés dans les “foyers ARELI”.
Pour que nos savoir-faire soient au service de l’ensemble des habitants des Hauts de France et de leurs élus, nous avons mis en place un “Centre de ressources” cofinancé principalement par le Conseil régional.
Nous sommes donc aujourd’hui en mesure de proposer notre appui aux collectivités et aux associations qui souhaiteraient développer des dispositifs ou des actions dans l’un ou l’autre de nos quatre domaines d’intervention.
