UNIT, l'Université Numérique Ingénierie et Technologie, est l'une des Universités Numériques Thématiques (UNT) créées à l'initiative de Grandes Ecoles, d’Universités et du Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche (MENESR).
UNIT associe tous les acteurs de la formation supérieure en Sciences de l'Ingénieur et Technologie désireux de s’impliquer dans le développement du numérique, la mise en place de pédagogies innovantes, la mutualisation des outils, des expériences, et le co-pilotage de projets basés sur des ressources éducatives libres (REL) et des dispositifs de formation appuyées sur le numérique.
UNIT est une Fondation Partenariale qui regroupe environ 40 Universités, Grandes Ecoles d'Ingénieurs et Entreprises.
