Description
  • Value proposition

The energy comes from passionate people.

Rompetrol is the place where over 5,000 ambitious minds, having 200 qualifications, spread across 11 countries, connect and share knowledge to create the energy we need to move forward.

Having more than 4 decades of expertise in the energy industry, the ambition of Rompetrol is to embark on a greater mission: provide the energy for a sustainable future, by being dedicated to constantly developing the products and services, to respond to people’s needs for an upgraded way of living.

Rompetrol is the main brand of KMG International, used for refining, petrochemicals and retail activities in Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Georgia, and also for the well services in the upstream area.

More than 15 years ago, the company was taken over by NC KazMunayGas JSC, the National Oil and Gas Company of Kazakhstan, establishing the foundations of an integrated business between the natural resources located in Central Asia and the markets throughout Europe.

There is one thing that has not changed over time, however: people are the group’s greatest source of energy. It is their drive that helps us contribute to a better society while inspiring millions of customers and partners by giving them the strength and ambition to move forward towards sustainable living.
