We tell the story of Toronto's railways and their impact on urban development. Visit us at Roundhouse Park!

The Toronto Railway Museum operates in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada within Roundhouse Park. It is operated by the Toronto Railway Historical Association under an Operating Agreement with the City of Toronto. We tell the story of Toronto's urban and industrial development by combining science & technology and social history.

It has developed an array of exhibits including several full size historic engines and rolling stock, the John Street CPR Roundhouse, a railway station, a signal cabin and a working turntable. It also provide a museum exhibit experience and miniature railway rides for visitors.

Its mission is to capture and interpret the history of railways in the Toronto area and of the people who built and ran them.
