Second Harvest Heartland is a leading hunger-relief organization. In partnership with more than 1,100 food shelves and hunger-relief programs in Minnesota and western Wisconsin, we provided nearly 128 million meals to neighbors last year. We also help families enroll in food assistance and provide prepared meals for people who need more than groceries. Second Harvest Heartland is a leader, convener and voice in hunger-related policy discussions.
We’re working on a bold goal to cut hunger in half for all Minnesotans by 2030. With the help of the whole community, we’ll reduce hunger today by increasing access to emergency food, and prevent hunger tomorrow with policy, partnerships and one-on-one services, all while tracking progress to ensure we’re effective and accountable.
There’s a role for each of us to play in making hunger history. Reach out to learn how you can join us or learn more at 2harvest.org.

Food Distribution, Food Bank, Hunger Relief, Food Shelf, and Food Pantry
There is more than enough food for everyone. As one of the nation’s largest hunger relief agencies, it’s our job to make sure healthy, nutritious food gets to the households who need it. Every day, we’re working together to source and distribute food efficiently, advocate for effective policies and programs, and invest in new ways to end hunger in the heartland.
