As a non-partisan association of 234 interest groups from politics, society and business based in Berlin, we have been promoting European integration and cross-border cooperation since 1949. Als Deutschlands größtes Netzwerk für Europapolitik engagieren wir uns in und für Europa gemeinsam mit unseren 234 Mitgliedsorganisationen aus Politik, Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft.
Als überparteilicher Zusammenschluss von 234 Interessensgruppen aus Politik, Gesellschaft und Wirtschaft mit Sitz in Berlin fördern wir seit 1949 die europäische Integration und grenzüberschreitende Zusammenarbeit. Mit unserer Arbeit tragen wir zu einem besseren gesellschaftlichen Dialog und Verständnisses zur europäischen Integration und den Themen der EU-Agenda bei. Dabei leiten uns 3 Überzeugungen: die Europäische Demokratie vertiefen, Europas Werten Geltung verschaffen und Europa zukunftsfähig zu machen.
Die EBD ist institutioneller Partner des Auswärtigen Amtes aufgrund eines Beschlusses des Deutschen Bundestages.
