Elle se veut également pragmatique et indépendante de toute idéologie politique, syndicale et religieuse.
Créée en 2007, elle évolue conformément aux valeurs du mouvement associatif étudiant indépendant. A ce titre, elle est membre de la FAGE (Fédération des Associations Générales Etudiantes).
