La Fondazione Giovanni Agnelli è un istituto indipendente di cultura e di ricerca nel campo delle scienze sociali. È stata fondata nel 1966 dalla Fiat e dall’IFI, che le hanno conferito il patrimonio, in occasione del centenario della nascita del Senatore Giovanni Agnelli, fondatore della Fiat.

A partire dal 2008 la Fondazione ha scelto di concentrare le proprie attività di ricerca sui temi dell’education (scuola, università, lifelong learning), nella convinzione che la qualità del capitale umano sia, oggi più di ieri, fra i fattori principali del benessere economico, della coesione sociale e della realizzazione degli individui.
