    O Cluster Têxtil: Tecnologia e Moda é uma estrutura de apoio sectorial que tem como objeto principal a dinamização de processos de interação, articulação, colaboração e partilha de informação dentro do próprio agregado económico, agindo de forma supletiva à atuação dos seus próprios membros, como instrumento de obtenção de acréscimos de competitividade pela inovação e pela internacionalização, numa lógica de eficiência coletiva.

    O Cluster Têxtil é um "espaço"​ onde estas entidades estabelecem relações win-win, tendo como objetivo final a produção e partilha de conhecimento como suporte à inovação e à competitividade.
