The Caritas France Foundation was created by Secours Catholique in 2009.
A recognized public utility and sheltering foundation, we complement its means of fighting more effectively and sustainably against inequalities and situations of exclusion in France and around the world, in particular by allowing families to create their own foundations.
A true “generosity management advisor”, we support nearly 90 founders sheltered under our aegis in bringing their projects to fruition.
At the same time, we finance and provide advice to initiatives to combat poverty in France and around the world: projects meeting the essential needs of the most vulnerable people, innovative projects, Social and Solidarity Economy initiatives, etc. Since 2009 , we have dedicated more than 27 million euros to financing projects.

La Fondation Caritas France a été créée par le Secours Catholique en 2009.
Fondation reconnue d’utilité publique et abritante, nous complétons ses moyens de lutter plus efficacement et plus durablement contre les inégalités et les situations d’exclusion en France et dans le Monde, notamment en permettant aux familles de créer leurs propres fondations.
Véritable « conseiller en gestion de générosité » , nous accompagnons ainsi près de 90 fondateurs abrités sous notre égide dans la concrétisation de leurs projets.
Parallèlement, nous finançons et apportons nos conseils à des initiatives de lutte contre la pauvreté en France et dans le Monde : projets répondant aux besoins essentiels des personnes les plus fragiles, projets innovants, initiatives de l’Economie Sociale et Solidaire... Depuis 2009, nous avons ainsi consacré plus de 27 millions d’euros au financement de projets.
