The Williams Institute is dedicated to conducting rigorous, independent research on sexual orientation and gender identity law and public policy. A think tank at UCLA Law, the Williams Institute produces research with real-world relevance to generate knowledge about LGBT people and examine the impact of law and policy on their health and well-being. The Institute’s research informs policymakers, advocates, the courts and the media worldwide, infusing data into public discourse.
