GreenToken is a Chain-Of-Custody supply chain solution that offers companies a new level of transparency in their complex raw material supply chain.

Many supply chain traceability solutions exist in the market but they almost always rely on keeping tabs on batches. At GreenToken we know this approach doesn't work for raw materials or 2 reasons -

1) Raw materials ship and store in bulk and are often commingled (mixed up) at the first and later points of aggregation.

2) Even if batch identifiers for certain quantities are known, constant commingling and smaller off-takes lead to an n! (n-factorial) number of records that potential need to be kept . A supply chain with 15 sources of raw material can have 15! (1.3 followed by 12 zeros) possible combinations - no batch system is able to track this complexity - we know, our customers have tried!

With GreenToken, companies that need to source raw materials can now accurately report on sustainable or ethical procurement, even if the materials are mixed or blended. This allows our customers to make informed decisions on where to source and prove to interesting parties that they are sourcing responsibly.

Whats more, GreenToken can be used to measure the level of certain raw materials in finished goods. Let's say you want to prove to the world that your consumer products have a high volume of recycled polymers in the products themselves or in the packaging.
