Alleen samen realiseren wij een wereld zonder ALS.
Missie: Het stimuleren van wetenschappelijk onderzoek naar de oorzaken en behandeling van ALS én het creëren van een betere kwaliteit van zorg en leven van ALS-patiënten en hun omgeving.
Elk jaar krijgen 500 mensen de progressieve neurologische ziekte Amyotrofische Laterale Sclerose (ALS). Na het stellen van de diagnose is de gemiddelde levensverwachting van een patiënt slechts 3 tot 5 jaar.
Er is maar één manier om ALS de wereld uit te helpen: wetenschappelijk onderzoek. Daarom doen wij er alles aan om het ALS Centrum in stand te houden en verder te ontwikkelen. Daar is geld voor nodig. Veel geld.
Ons hoofddoel is ALS de wereld uit. Tot die tijd staan wij voor onze missie: het creëeren van een betere kwaliteit van leven voor mensen met ALS. Op deze site kunt u lezen hoe wij daar aan werken.
