Als Teil der Unionsfamilie bekennen wir uns zu den christlich-demokratischen Grundwerten, Überzeugungen und Zielen. Und doch sind wir selbstständig und weder programmatisch, organisatorisch noch finanziell an CDU und CSU gebunden. Wir verstehen uns als Antriebsfeder und kraftvollen Motor einer ständigen personellen und inhaltlichen Erneuerung in den Unionsparteien; und zwar auf allen politischen Ebenen, von der Kommunalpolitik, über die Landes- und Bundespolitik bis hin zur Europapolitik. Mit unseren Veranstaltungen und Positionen stoßen wir Debatten an, geben Denkanstöße und bündeln die Interessen der jungen Generation für Partei und Gesellschaft. Wir stehen für eine ehrliche und offene politische Auseinandersetzung und leben die Diskussionskultur in unseren Verbänden und Gremien.
