By becoming a member, you are supporting The Center's 200-year-old mission to promote the exciting work of early-career writers and inspire a passion for literature in young kids. Join to help us continue offering valuable resources to the literary community, hosting public events, and preserving our unique space in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.

To show our appreciation, members enjoy several benefits, such as borrowing privileges from our library, access to our private reading room and terrace, discounts on classes, and free entry or discounted admission to events. (Minimum membership age is 13.)
