The FNESI - National Federation of Nursing Students is the only structure that represents nursing students with training stakeholders, whether political and/or administrative (Ministries of Nursing). La FNESI - Fédération Nationale des Etudiant·e·s en Sciences Infirmières est l’unique structure qui représente les étudiant.e.s en sciences infirmières auprès des acteur·rice·s de la formation qu’iels soient politiques et/ou administratifs (Ministères de la Santé et de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche, Agence Régionales de Santé, etc), professionnel·le·s (syndicats confédéraux, professionnels et associations) ou étudiant.e.s via son grand réseau partout en France.
Défendre les étudiant.e.s en soins infirmiers est la première mission de la FNESI. Elle répond aux problématiques collectives et individuelles des étudiant.e.s. Elle accompagne et soutient les étudiant.e.s dans leurs démarches à accomplir. Par cette mission, la FNESI accompagne les élu.e.s de promotion afin qu’ils puissent eux aussi être à même de représenter au mieux les étudiant.e.s localement.
Avec le réseau des associations étudiantes en soins infirmiers, la FNESI développe des projets innovants pour répondre aux besoins des étudiant.e.s en IFSI. Ces projets d’innovation sociale tentent de parer à des situations problématiques tels que la dégradation des conditions de vie des ESI ou encore un taux d’échec important des étudiant.e.s en première année. La FNESI propose un accompagnement et des formations personnalisées aux associations de son réseau pour qu’elles puissent réaliser de la meilleure manière leurs projets et engagements envers les étudiant.e.s.
