The Testimonio project then was created in 2017; Saying "testimony" in Spanish, he testifies to Mexican culture by internationally disseminating his know-how, and seals in every jewel made an invaluable part of the Mexican heritage. Each jewel is gold, sewn hand and adorned with real pearls.

Testimonio did not stop there: through the sale of jewelry, this allows everyone to help a disadvantaged population in Guatemala: each jewel purchased is equivalent to a day of drinking water for an entire family, in association with the organization Inspira Guate.

Suite à leurs études en Ecole de Commerce, entreprendre leur semblait une évidence ; Diego Molina et Vanessa Valencia ont alors créé Testimonio Jewelry, une entreprise pas comme les autres.

Un voyage, un savoir-faire, une culture : la naissance d’une idée
Diego et Vanessa viennent tous deux d’Amérique latine : du Guatemala et du Mexique. Ils se rencontrent en France en commençant l’université puis l’école IFAG, qui a été leur tremplin pour entreprendre.
C’est lors d’un voyage au Mexique, alors encore tout deux étudiants, qu’ils découvrent des artisans bijoutiers et la beauté du fait-main traditionnel. Leur vient alors l'idée de pouvoir préserver ce savoir-faire culturel tout en apportant une touche de mode occidentale, et d’ainsi créer du travail local dans des conditions saines et respectueuses des artisans.
Le projet de Testimonio voit alors le jour en 2017 ; signifiant "Témoignage" en espagnol, il témoigne de la culture mexicaine en diffusant internationalement son savoir-faire, et scelle dans chaque bijou fait-main une inestimable part du patrimoine mexicain. Chaque bijou est plaqué or, cousu main et orné de véritables perles.

Testimonio ne s’en est pas arrêté là : à travers la vente des bijoux, cela permet à tout un chacun d'aider une population défavorisée au Guatemala : chaque bijou acheté équivaut à une journée d'eau potable pour une famille entière, en association avec l'organisation Inspira Guate.
