La Asociación Española para la Prevención del Acoso Escolar (o A.E.P.A.E. o AEPAE) es una entidad NO gubernamental SIN ánimo de lucro. Está formada por profesionales de distintos ámbitos: psicólogos, pedagogos, expertos en ciberacoso, educadores sociales, abogados, expertos en seguridad y autoprotección, profesores de arte dramático y padres y madres de víctimas de acoso escolar, comprometidos con la prevención del acoso escolar.
Es la fundadora e impulsora del Plan Nacional contra el Acoso Escolar. Una necesidad urgente de nuestro sistema educativo, que acometen desde la sociedad civil, con la intención de mejorar la convivencia en los centros educativos y combatir el acoso escolar en todas sus manifestaciones.
Desde AEPAE consideramos que nuestros hijos tienen derecho a asistir a su centro escolar seguros, sin miedo y con libertad. Que nadie tenga derecho a hacerles daño para que puedan desarrollar todo su potencial como personas en un clima de confianza y sana autoestima. Los niños son el futuro de la sociedad. Ayudarles a crecer felices es tarea de todos.
