Nederlandse Vereniging van Participatiemaatschappijen (Dutch Private Equity and Venture Capital Association)

The NVP is the branch organization of private equity and venture capital firms in the Netherlands and represents 90% of the private equity and venture capital assets under management in the Netherlands. The NVP has more than 120 private equity and venture capital members and approximately 95 associated members who are professionally or commercially involved in this type of investment. The activities of the NVP consist of advocacy, research & information and activities & training for the members.

The goals of the NVP are:
- To improve the investment climate for private equity firms in the Netherlands;
- Improve the awareness and image of private equity firms and explain the role and usefulness to relevant stakeholders;
- Informing entrepreneurs about the possibilities of private equity firms in corporate financing; - Informing professional investors about the possibilities of investing in funds of venture capital companies;
- Contribute to further professionalization of the sector. The NVP is the point of contact for anyone who wants to know more about private equity and venture capital. The NVP was founded in 1984. We are a member of VNO-NCW and Invest Europe.
