Global Black Youth (GBY) connects, amplifies and invests in the reach and impact of the most cutting-edge technology generated by young Black disruptors, innovators and entrepreneurs on a global scale. We recognize Black youth as an untapped resource with valuable and otherwise unattainable knowledge of and solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. By moving away from a deficiency orientation to an asset-based approach, GBY is disrupting the dominant negative narratives of young Black people. We build a global community & ecosystem that celebrates Black innovations, democratizes entrepreneurship and creates bridges to resources and opportunities. Through our multi-sectoral and cross-regional platforms, products and programs we establish a pipeline to unnurtured Black talent that reshapes the current business as usual model.
