Créé il y a maintenant sept ans, elle est maintenant la Clinique Juridique de la Faculté de Droit de Droit et de Sciences Politiques de Montpellier.
Cette Clinique a pour objectif de renforcer l’accès au droit des personnes vulnérables et de promouvoir la défense des droits des consommateurs. Elle permet, ainsi, aux personnes les plus fragiles et aux consommateurs d'obtenir une première assistance juridique élaborée par des étudiants et des élèves-Avocats sous le contrôle d'Universitaires et d'Avocats.
Cette activité, ayant également un objectif pédagogique, s'inscrit dans le cadre de la formation d'étudiants de Master 2 de la Faculté de Droit de Montpellier et plus particulièrement des étudiants du M2 Droit Privé et du M2 Concurrence Consommation. Depuis 2016, l’école de formation des avocats centre-sud 2016 est partenaire de la Clinique Juridique du centre du droit de la consommation et du marché, permettant ainsi à de nombreux élèves-Avocats de participer à la clinique
