    The initiative is carried by Nataša Bogovac (from Serbia) and Christophe Masson (from France). CowFunding is a crowdfunding platform based in Lille (France) that decided to mainly focus on 3 areas:

    - Sustainable Development
    - Handicap
    - Social Economy

    As far as handicap & social economy are concerned and way before the site was launched, the founders were already in touch with many families/structures who struggled to get subsidies for their association. Their motivation to launch a crowdfunding platform became clearer as time went by and was made easier since they had a huge interest in the sector (they were amongst the early-birds when they pledged money on Kickstarter when the platform arouse).

    As far as sustainable development is concerned, CowFunding was the first platform ever to sign a partnership with five regional Chamber of Commerce in the framework of the implementation of Rifkin's 3rd Industrial Revolution in the North of France.

    The website is quite recent (was launched last september 2013) and already entitled 30 projects to raise over 70,000 euros.
    Both of the founders left their previous job (in marketing and teaching) in order to give CowFunding the possibility to become a game changer.
