The Ulupono Initiative is a Hawaii-focused impact investment firm. Ulupono — meaning to prosper through the right, or pono, path — is rooted in the local wisdom that a healthy environment and a healthy economy go hand in hand. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for island residents with more renewable energy, more locally produced food, and better management of freshwater and waste. By supporting local efforts to improve our economy and environment, the Ulupono Initiative ultimately aims to enrich the lives of Hawaii's people.
