As a non-profit educational initiative, “more than learning” aims to support young people through competence-oriented teaching and learning in shaping their lives independently and taking responsibility for a democratic and peaceful society.

Als gemeinnützige Bildungsinitiative verfolgt „mehr als lernen“ das Ziel, junge Menschen mit kompetenzorientiertem Lehren und Lernen dabei zu unterstützen, ihr Leben eigenverantwortlich zu gestalten und Verantwortung für eine demokratische und friedliche Gesellschaft zu übernehmen.
Wir konzipieren innovative Bildungsprogramme (Seminare, Fahrten, Workshops, Trainings, Unterricht) und führen diese mit jungen Menschen durch. Inhaltliche Schwerpunkte liegen dabei unter anderem auf Lebensorientierung/Zukunftsplanung und Stärkung von Schülervertretungen und Schulentwicklung.
In der Bildungsbranche sind wir etabliert und gut vernetzt: Wir sind Mitglied im Bundesverband innovative Bildungsprogramme, im Social Entrepreneurship Netzwerk Deutschland, anerkannter Träger der Jugendhilfe und Partner des Bundesforums Kinder- und Jugendreisen.
Außerdem ist „mehr als lernen“ nach DIN EN ISO 9001 zertifiziert, zugelassener Bildungsträger nach AZAV und IHK-Ausbildungsbetrieb. Wir betreiben das Bildungs- und Erlebnishaus Fleeth (Mecklenburgische Seenplatte) und wurden mit dem Wirkt-Siegel von Phineo ausgezeichnet.
