The Philanthro-Lab is the first place dedicated to philanthropy.
Inaugurated in September 2021, the institution was designed and created by the Compagnie de Phalsbourg in a building with exceptional architecture: the former Hôtel de la Bûcherie, whose foundations date back to the 14th century. This unique place for meetings and sharing aims to support the emergence, development and sustainability of projects of general interest, as well as to democratize the philanthropic gesture.
A friendly, generous and open place to live, the Philanthro-Lab aims to welcome as many people as possible to discover philanthropy and make it shine. Our goal: to help increase the number of French people involved in philanthropy from 15% to 30% by 2030.
The site includes a coworking dedicated to actors of the general interest, an incubator which will help project leaders and citizens to develop non-profit projects with a positive impact on society, spaces for advice, exchanges and meetings. and an event program open to the general public.
Two beliefs govern this unique place: “giving makes you better” and “all causes are good”.

Le Philanthro-Lab est le premier lieu dédié à la philanthropie.
Inaugurée en septembre 2021, l'institution a été pensée et créée par la Compagnie de Phalsbourg dans un bâtiment à l’architecture exceptionnelle : l’ancien Hôtel de la Bûcherie, dont les fondations remontent au XIVe siècle. Ce lieu inédit de rencontres et de partage a pour vocation d’accompagner l’émergence, le développement et la pérennisation de projets d’intérêt général, ainsi que de démocratiser le geste philanthropique.
Lieu de vie convivial, généreux et ouvert à tous, le Philanthro-Lab vise à accueillir le plus grand nombre pour faire découvrir la philanthropie et la faire rayonner. Notre objectif : contribuer à faire passer de 15% à 30% le nombre de Français engagés dans la philanthropie d’ici 2030.
Le site intègre un coworking dédié aux acteurs de l’intérêt général, un incubateur qui aidera porteurs de projets et citoyens à développer des projets à but non lucratif et à impact positif pour la société, des espaces de conseil, d'échanges, de rencontres et une programmation évènementielle ouverte au grand public.
Deux convictions président cet endroit unique: « donner rend meilleur » et « toutes les causes sont bonnes ».
