Your partners in quality. We are the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI), the professional body for experts in improving product, project and service quality. Since 1919 we've been championing organisational excellence by setting professional standards for quality management in the UK and globally.

Our purpose is to increase the practice of quality management in all sectors for the benefit of society. Quality management includes: improving products, services, systems and processes, to making sure that the whole organisation is fit and effective. In return, this helps organisations deliver the very best for their consumers and stakeholders.

We’re the only Chartered body that can award Chartered Quality Professional status. With 19,000 members in 100 countries, we support quality management practitioners and, through our International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA), auditing professionals.
