    Founded in 1988, the International Aviation Womens Association (IAWA) brings together women of achievement in the aviation industry and promotes their advancement internationally through the establishment of a worldwide network of aviation professional contacts.

    IAWA is an international organization for women who hold senior positions in the aviation and aerospace industry including airport management and consulting, commercial, general and business aviation, banking and leasing, economic and business consulting, education and research, engineering, finance, government, insurance, international relations, law, manufacturing, media and space.

    As an organization of women of achievement in the aviation and aerospace industry, IAWA provides a worldwide network dedicated to promoting the advancement of women in the industry. Through its annual conferences, newsletters, press releases and other events, IAWA also serves as an information exchange and resource to these professional women.
